UAE Launches New Comprehensive Legislation Platform

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a comprehensive legislation platform, uaelegislation.gov.ae , which consolidates federal laws, decrees, bylaws, and executive decisions issued from the establishment of the UAE in 1971 to the present.

Announced during a Cabinet meeting, this e-legislation portal serves as a centralized source for federal legislation in both Arabic and English, accessible to the public at no cost. Currently featuring over 1000 laws and regulations, the platform offers a user-friendly interface with an advanced search engine.

Users can track amendments and stay updated on enacted legislation, ensuring awareness of the evolving legal landscape. Specialists and experts are encouraged to engage with the laws, providing insights and suggestions on ongoing legislative initiatives.

Additionally, the UAE has approved a law enforcement index to assess the impact of laws and ensure fair and equitable application to all individuals.
